A Local Excavation Crew for Waco Dirt Work

Ambrozia-avl runs land excavation for homeowners, builders, and small commercial clients across Waco, Texas and the surrounding McLennan County towns. Our recent project log covers site preparation and grading, land clearing and grubbing, foundation excavation, utility trenching, and driveway and road base prep. We work on raw acreage, tight infill lots, and paving-ready pads, and we finish each one to the same standard.

Central Texas soil is not forgiving. Expansive clay moves with the weather, the Brazos River bottoms hold water, and access on an older lot near Cobbs Drive can be tight. That is exactly why we stake cut and fill to the grading plan, place structural fill in controlled lifts, and verify compaction to 95 percent of maximum dry density before anyone builds on it.

How We Work

• 811 first, always. We place the free underground utility locate before a bucket touches the ground, so marked lines stay intact.
• On plan, on grade. Laser and GPS grade control keeps pad elevations and drainage slopes matched to the engineer’s numbers.
• Dig safe. In any cut 5 feet or deeper we follow OSHA Subpart P with sloping, benching, or a trench box, inspected daily.
• Local and insured. A licensed, insured Waco-area crew, and a real person answers when you call.
